Welcome to Kept AI
Understand how your brand appears in AI search, and decide what to improve next.
See your AI visibility
Your audience asks AI tools for recommendations, comparisons, and answers. Kept AI brings the sampled answers, brand mentions, and cited sources into one project, so your team can examine what the models actually said.
What you’ll find in these docs#
- Quickstart Guide Create a project, review suggested prompts, and explore your first results.
- Understand your results Read visibility, position, sentiment, and the sources behind the answers.
- Connect an AI assistant Ask questions about your projects with ten read-only MCP tools.
- Build with your data Read analytics through the authenticated analysis API.
What Kept AI does#
- Track prompts. Organize real questions by topic, intent, and status, with suggestions and keyword imports to help you start.
- Read your performance. Explore Overview, Insights, and Perception. Inspect individual sampled answers before drawing conclusions from aggregate metrics.
- Understand sources. Compare cited domains and URLs, and look for citation gaps.
- Plan improvements. Review earned and owned Actions and their impact. Explore advertising and shopping observations where the selected surface provides them.
A sampled answer is an observation, not a guarantee of what every user will see. Model, prompt, time range, and available data affect the results.
Models and data#
Kept supports 11 AI model and search surfaces, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Copilot, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, and Grok. Web surfaces and model surfaces are distinct. Your plan and project settings determine which are enabled. See AI models and surfaces.
Agent analytics adds crawl, crawlability, and conversion views for domains connected to Kept Gateway. Begin with Connecting your data before interpreting those views.
